Q&A WITH PINELLAS ALE WORKS
When it comes to award-winning beers and a die-hard love for dogs, it is hard to find a place that does it better than Pinellas Ale Works (PAW). As its initials would suggest, PAW is one of the most dog-friendly breweries in St. Pete with a dual mission of brewing doggone good beer and giving back to the community by hosting weekly and monthly events benefiting Pinellas County animal related charities.

Q. WHAT'S YOUR NAME?
A. Michelle Appleyard
Q. WHAT IS YOUR TITLE?
A. Taproom Manager
Q. HOW DID YOU COME UP WITH THE NAME OF YOUR BREWERY?
A: During the build out, the owner always brought his dog, Jim to work with him. Jim was known as the "brew dog". We always knew we wanted to encompass our furry best friends into the brewery because there really isn't anything better than drinking beer and petting dogs! We decided on the name Pinellas Ale Works but, many just know us as 'PAW'. A place where dogs are always welcome and the beer is always flowing.
Q. WHAT BEER/BRANDS INSPIRED YOU IN CREATING YOUR OWN BRAND?
Q. WHAT IS YOUR BREWERY MOST KNOWN FOR?
A. We are known for our wide variety of beer. We have over 40 taps of craft beer brewed on location. Try our GABF Silver Medal Winner Milk Bone Sweet Stout or our refreshingly hazy Puppy Love New England Style IPA.
Q. THE ALIENS HAVE FINALLY HAD ENOUGH, YOU GET ONE LAST ITEM FROM YOUR BREWERY'S MENU BEFORE THEY EVAPORATE EARTH. WHAT IS IT?
A. Our Shrimp and Risotto Bites! Wild caught gulf shrimp, Arborio rice, breaded and fried with honey habanero aioli. So delicious! and pairs great with our 'Off The Leash' American IPA.
